Steps to Set Up

  1. Install Altnativ on your Android phone

    Download from the Play Store and open the app.

  2. Create an account & sign in

    Use Email or Google to create an account or sign in.

  3. Open Android Quick Settings

    Swipe down from the top of the screen to reveal Quick Settings.

  4. Enter edit mode

    Tap the pencil icon.

    (Optional) On Samsung phone, for faster access Altnativ AutoPort feature, select ‘Top’ tiles.

  5. Find the “Altnativ” tile

    It may be in a separate section.

  6. Add/move the tile to arrange for easy access

    Move the Altnativ tile near the top so it’s reachable with one swipe. (This makes it quick to launch AutoPort and capture.)
