AutoPort is built for speed: take a screenshot on Android and it auto-pastes into your Figma canvas in about a second.

Every shot captured using Autoport is also saved to your Altnativ Library, so you never lose anything and can reuse it later across devices. If your goal is to get screenshots into Figma as quickly as possible, AutoPort makes it effortless: snap → it appears on canvas.

The screenshots below are from Google Pixel and Samsung devices. Wording/layouts may vary on other Android models. AutoPort is Android-only for now; iOS isn’t supported due to platform limitations.

What you need

• Install the Altnativ app from Google Play and sign up or sign in on your android phone.
• Install the Altnativ plugin from Figma Community and sign in with the same account on Figma.

Steps to Set Up

1. Install Altnativ on your Android phone

   Download from the Play Store and open the app.

2. Create an account & sign in

   Use Email or Google to create an account or sign in.

3. Open Android Quick Settings

   Swipe down from the top of the screen to reveal Quick Settings.

4. Enter edit mode

   Tap the pencil icon.

   

   (Optional) On Samsung phone, for faster access Altnativ AutoPort feature, select ‘Top’ tiles.
